WE

LIVE

SO

F_ST

in HEAVEN 17

Please don’t ask me to stay
I’m leaving this town
Don’t worry now
Believe me as I believe that
Luck is on my side
The future is mine
If I can find
A way through these strange days of my life

We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We can’t stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way it’s time to make it happen

The streets deserted and cold
They’re not paved with gold
But I don’t care
For those who think young will still survive
Making their move
Hoping to prove
That they can face
This big city, small world, big time

We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We can’t stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way it’s time to make it happen

But now I know their ways
I found my place
Saw their true face
There’s nothing to stay for so I’ll go
I’ll pick up the phone
Still searching for home
We life so fast
Alone but not lonely I move on

We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We can’t stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way it’s time to make it happen

OMG OMD OGM almost…YEAH.!

This is a song called the Circus Of Death, it tells the true story of a circus we met. The first two verses concern the actual arrival at Heathrow Airport of Commissioner Steve McGarrett. The third emotionally describes a map showing the range of the circus. The fourth and fifth were extracted from an article in the Guardian of March the 19th, 1962. The last is a short wave radio message from the last man on Earth…

(spoken introduction)

Nine o’clock flight from Hawaii
The Trident is just touching down
We’re waiting here on the tarmac
McGarrett is wearing a frown

He’s here to help with a problem
A blood-spattered curse on our land
Please cast your eye over this map, sir
This business is quite out of hand

The circus of death is approaching
Its pathway is painted in red
Before it the frightened and helpless
Behind it a trail of the dead

The narcotic that forges their union is a substance known only to one
To the clown it is known as Dominion
It’s a secret that he’ll give to none

The drug which gives the clown power means the circus can never be stopped
And his dream can go on unhindered ‘til the last human being has dropped

Spare me and my family
I’ve done you no wrong
Go away, please let us be
I’ve known you for too long…

Oh, girl Ive known you very well
Ive seen you growing everyday
I never really looked before
But now you take my breath away

Suddenly you’re in my life
Part of everything I do
You got me working day and night
Just trying to keep a hold on you

Here in your arms I found my paradise
My only chance for happiness
And if I lose you now I think I would die

Oh say you’ll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a time

(chorus)
More than a woman, more than a woman to me
More than a woman, more than a woman to me
More than a woman, oh, oh, oh

There are stories old and true
Of people so in love like you and me
And I can see myself
Let history repeat itself

Reflecting how I feel for you
Thinking about those people then
I know that in a thousand years
I’d fall in love with you again

This is the only way that we should fly
This is the only way to go
And if I lose your love I know I would die

Oh say you’ll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a time, huh

(chorus)

repeat to fade

“Brothers and sisters, I wanna see a sea of hands out there. Let me see a sea of hands! I want everybody to kick up some noise.
I wanna hear some revolution out there, brothers. I wanna hear a little revolution.
Brothers and sisters, the time has come for each and every one of you to decide whether you are gonna be the problem or whether you are gonna be the solution.
You must choose, brothers, you must choose. It takes five seconds, five seconds of decision. Five seconds to realize your purpose here on the planet.
It takes five seconds to realize that its time to move. It’s time to get down with it. Brothers, it s time to testify and I want to know, are you ready to testify?
Are you ready? I give you a testimonial… The MC5!” >Ramblin’Rose (Kick out the jams)
